New Orleans Spinach

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. Frozen chopped spinach
  • 8 oz. Cream cheese
  • 1 stick Butter/oleo
  • ½ Lemon (juice)
  • 1 cup Herb stuffing
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Directions

Cook spinach according to directions. Drain well and while hot, add cream cheese and ½ stick butter. Mix well and add lemon juice, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Place mixture in buttered casserole and herb stuffing croutons on top. Melt remaining butter and drizzle over bread cubes. Bake @ 350 deg for about 30 min. or until thoroughly heated.
