Weissgerber’s 7 Seas Potato Pancakes

 

Ingredients

  • 10 med. Russet potatoes –peeled
  • 1 cup Flour
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • 1 lg. Onion -chopped fine
  • 1 tsp. White pepper
  • 1 tsp. Garlic salt
  • 3 Eggs
  • ¼ tsp. Cayenne pepper (opt)

Directions

Combine flour, salt, peppers and garlic. Add milk and eggs - mix until smooth. Set aside. Grate potatoes, add with onion to batter. Mix well. Preheat griddle to 350 deg. Pour thin layer of oil on griddle. Pour about 2 oz. of batter per pancake. Cook 3 min. on each side.

Serve with applesauce.
