Green Beans Almondine
Ingredients
- 1½ lbs. Fresh green beans
- 1/3 cup Sliced green onions
- 1 clove Garlic - minced
- 2 tsp. Olive oil
- ¼ cup Balsamic vinegar
- 4 tsp. Sugar
- ½ tsp. Tarragon
- ¼ cup Toasted sliced almonds
- 1/8 tsp. Salt
Directions
Cover beans with water and boil 8 - 10 min. - uncovered. In a skillet, sauté onions and garlic in oil. Add rest of the ingredients (except nuts) and cook until liquid is reduced one-half. Drain beans and add to mixture. Cook until reheated. Sprinkle with almonds.
