Green Beans Gretal

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Cut green beans
  • 2 Tbsp. Chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter/oleo
  • ¼ cup Bean juice
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Vinegar
  • 2 tsp. Corn starch
  • 1 tsp. Prepared mustard
  • 1 tsp. Horseradish
  • 2 Tbsp. Chopped pimento

Directions

Drain beans reserving ¼ cup of liquid. Sauté onions in butter until limp. Mix sugar, cornstarch, bean juice and vinegar together and add to onion. Cook until stiff. Blend in mustard, horseradish and pimento. Add beans and heat to serve.

Great with beef roast.
