Green Beans In Balsamic Vinegar

 

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb. Fresh green beans
  • 2 clove Minced garlic
  • 1 cup Slivered almonds
  • 3 Tbsp. Olive oil
  • 1 tsp. Vegetable base (paste)
  • 1½ Tbsp. Balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. Sugar

Directions

Bring large pot of water to boil and cook beans about 2 minutes until bright green but still al dente. Drain. In large sauté pan heat oil and add garlic, almonds and vegetable base stirring well. Add beans and stir fry about 1 - 2 min. Add vinegar, soy sauce and sugar. Mix well and heat to keep warm.

Makes 4-6 servings.
