Barbeque On Buns

 

Ingredients

  • 4 lb. Hamburger
  • 1½ cups Celery – chopped
  • 1½ cup Onion - chopped
  • ½ cup Green Pepper – chopped
  • 3 cups Catsup
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/3 cup Brown sugar
  • ¾ cup Vinegar
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup Prepared mustard
  • 1 tsp. Pepper
  • 3½ tsp. Salt

Directions

Brown meat with celery, onion and green pepper. Add other ingredients and simmer for about an hour. Serve on hamburger buns.

May halve recipe. Served as AAUW craft fairs.
