Beef Stew
Ingredients
- 1-1½ lbs Stew meat
- Flour
- Oil
- 1 Bay leaf
- ¼-½ tsp. Thyme
- Onions
- Carrots
- Potatoes
Directions
Cut 1 - 1½ lbs stew meat into pieces and roll in flour. Brown in olive oil. Cover with water. Add bay leaf and ¼ -½ t thyme. Simmer 1 - 1½ hrs Add onions, carrots, potatoes, etc. in any amounts desired. Simmer another 45 min. or until vegetables are done.
