Italian Beef

Ingredients
- 5 lbs. Boneless chuck
- 2 Tbsp. Basil
- ½ tsp. Garlic powder
- 1½ Tbsp. Oregano
- 2 tsp. Red pepper (more or less)
- 2 Bay leaves
- 6 Garlic buds
- 1½ cups Water
Directions
Cut meat into chunks, removing all large pieces of fat. Place in crock pot. Add water and spices and mix lightly. Cook all day on med. Heat, stirring occasionally. As meat cooks and is nearly done, it will start shredding when stirred. Refrigerate over night and reheat the next day. Serve on French bread or buns. Easy and tasty - can half recipe.
