Popover Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Ground chuck
  • 1½ oz. Spaghetti sauce mix
  • 15 oz. Tomato sauce
  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 lg Onion – chopped
  • 8 oz. Sliced mozzarella
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • ½ cup Grated parmesan
  • 1 Tbsp. Veg oil
  • ½ tsp. Salt

Directions

Brown meat and onion, drain. Stir in sauce mix, tomato sauce and water. Simmer 10 min. Spoon into 9 x 13 pan and top with sliced cheese. In bowl, beat eggs, milk and oil until foamy. Beat in flour and salt until smooth. Pour over meat filling. Spread to cover completely. Sprinkle with parmesan. Bake at 400 deg 30 min. - or until puffed and golden brown. Cut & serve hot.
