Baked Lasagna
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 8 oz. Tomato sauce
- 2½ cups Tomatoes
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 clove Garlic – minced
- ½ lb. Lasagna noodles
- ½ cup Grated parmesan
- 1/8 tsp. Pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Salad oil
- 1 lb. Cottage cheese
- ½ lb. Mozzarella (sliced)
- ½ tsp. Oregano
Directions
Brown beef and garlic in oil, drain. Add tomato sauce, tomatoes and seasonings. Simmer 30 min. Cook noodles, leaving slightly underdone. Drain and rinse in hot water. Cover bottom of 9 x 13 pan with 1½ cups meat mixture. Lay ½ noodles covering meat. Spread ½ cottage cheese. Sprinkle with ½ the parmesan and 1/3 mozzarella. Repeat. Top remaining beef and mozzarella. Bake @ 350 deg for 45 minutes. Let stand for 10 min. for easier cutting.
