5 Hour Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. Beef stew meat
  • 2-3 med onions
  • 1-2 pkg Frozen green beans (opt)
  • 1 can Tomato sauce
  • 1 can Consommé
  • 4 Tbsp. Tapioca
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Celery
  • Potatoes
  • Carrots

Directions

Place meat and vegetables and seasonings in a large casserole. Top with tomato sauce and consommé (no water). Sprinkle with tapioca.

Bake covered @ 250 deg about 5 hrs.
