Orange Angel Food Dessert
Ingredients
- 1½ Tbsp. Knox gelatin
- ¼ cup Cold water
- ½ cup Boiling water
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Orange juice
- Juice of 1 Lemon
- 1 pint Whipping cream
- 1 Angel Food cake
Directions
Dissolve gelatin in cold water. Add boiling water and stir well. Add sugar, orange and lemon juices. Let stand until slightly thick. Beat whipping cream and fold into gelatin mixture. Break up angel food into small pieces - fold in orange mixture and place in a 9 x 13 pan. Refrigerate overnight.
May serve with a dollop of whipped cream.
