Choc. Dipped Creams
Ingredients
- 1 cup Flour – sifted
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup Butter/oleo
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 cup Cornstarch
- 1/8 tsp. Salt
- Powdered sugar for rolling
- Jimmies
- Cocoanut
- Chopped nuts
- Colored sugar etc. etc.
Directions
Cream butter and add ½ cup sugar gradually. Add vanilla. Sift salt, cornstarch and flour together and blend into creamed mixture. Chill 2 - 3 hours. Shape into balls, crescents, bars, triangles, etc. Place on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 deg about 12 minutes. Cool. Roll in powdered sugar. Dip part of each cooled cookie in a cup of melted chocolate chips, then into nuts, cocoanut, or other décor.
Makes about 6 doz.
I especially like this recipe because you can make one batch look like many kinds of cookies.
