Prairie School Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 box German choc. Cake mix
- ¾ cup Oleo – melted
- 2 cups Chocolate chips
- 1 small Evaporated milk
- 14 oz. Caramels
- 1 cup Chopped nuts
Directions
Mix box cake, oleo, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and nuts. Put ½ the batter in 9 x 13 pan. Bake 5 min. at 350 deg. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and melt. Melt caramels and remaining milk (can use microwave). Spread over chocolate chips. Put rest of batter on top. Bake 20 min, at 350 deg.
