Cocoa Brownies

 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Butter/oleo
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 2 large Eggs
  • ½ cup Cocoa
  • 2/3 cup Flour
  • ½ cup Chopped nuts
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • ½ tsp. Baking powder

Directions

Mix softened butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to mixture along with cocoa and nuts. Spread in 8 x 8 greased pan. Bake at 350 deg for 25 - 30 minutes or until wooden pick in center comes out clean. Cool and frost with any fudge/chocolate frosting if desired, or top with powered sugar using a sifter.

So easy but very good.
