Strawberry Glace Pie
Ingredients
- 1 Prepared pie crust
- 1 quart Fresh strawberries
- 1 cup Sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1 cup Warm water
- Red food coloring
Directions
Wash and hull berries. Cut up 1 cup of the berries. Mix cornstarch and sugar in saucepan. Stir in warm water gradually until smooth. Cook, stirring constantly until thick and clear. Add a few drops food coloring and stir in remaining berries reserving ¼ cup for garnish. Pour into cold crust. Chill at least 3 hours.
Serves 6
Top with whipping and reserved garnish
