Overnight French Toast

Ingredients
- 16 oz. French bread
- 8 lg Eggs
- 3 cups Milk
- 4 tsp. Sugar
- ¾ tsp. Salt
- 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
Directions
Cut bread into 1½ inch thick slices and arrange in layer in greased 9 x 13 pan. Beat eggs, milk, sugar, salt and vanilla together and pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate 4-36 hrs. Uncover and dot with butter. Bake @ 350 deg 45 - 50 min. Let stand 5 min. before cutting. Serve with maple syrup or powdered sugar.
Warm leftovers in microwave.
