Goldenrod Toast

Ingredients

  • 6 strips Bacon
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • ¼ tsp. Black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 4 Hard boiled eggs

Directions

Cut bacon across the strips into 1/8 inch pieces. Fry until crisp. Add milk, flour and seasonings. Cook until sauce is thickened and add diced egg whites. If sauce gets too thick more milk may be added. Serve on toast and top with yolks forced through a strainer.

Good at Easter time to use up those extra eggs. Serves 4
